Big walk today - 32 km - for some reason I thought it would be 23.

Camino humor

Made it to the Puenta Obrigo in time for lunch. Medieval Spain's "You shall not pass" locale - kept thinking about Monty Python and the Holy Grail - which really doesn't do the legend service.

The extra distance I hadn't counted on

Almost fell asleep at this idyllic pond

8 hours later - arrived in Astorga. For the last 8 km I had to change footwear - true Camino chic.
